Thank you...great pictures.

A great time capture of Corvette history. That must be the build sheet on the tank in the 6th picture down. Thanks.
|
Looking at the pics, I see a couple of great big vats of Brake Fluid(6th down). I also see in one of the pics (6th down) something on the floor that says HECHO EN MEXICO. Wonder what this would have been.
Once again thanks for posting the pics. |
...7th pic down has a "Southern Railway" boxcar inside the building. Musta had a rail spur going into it.

I don't remember who did it, but someone put this together the last time these pictures started going around. I thought it was pretty cool.
I've got a full sized 5mb version, but Photobucket balked. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...C3-collage.jpg |
Very cool. Current Corvette fever is running photos of the St Louis plant. What's interesting in these pic's is there's no workers! I thought the assembly lines went 24-7 to keep up with demand.
I'd love to see pic's from 1970 time period. Anybody ever see pics from then? |

Interesting pics. I wonder if white letter tires were added later or at the dealer.

RWL tires were an option......and installed at the factory. Standard were size P225/70R15 blackwall tires.
