'70-72 Brake Booster Removal

Can anyone tell me the steps for removal of the power brake booster on my '71? All my shop manuals are an hour and a half's drive away. I don't see any attaching bolts/nuts in the engine compartment.

Pedal goes just about to the floor as soon as the engine starts. The check valve is working properly, fluid full, no leaks, so I'm thinking it's got to be the booster.

Thanks in advance.

Remove the MC from the booster
Remove drivers seat
remove the clevis pin on the brake pedal to the booster input shaft
remove the 4 9/16 nuts holding the booster to the firewall. Use a long extension, wabble joint and deep socket. Its a PITA to get to, thats why you remove the seat, gives a LOT more room.
When you put it back together be SURE and get the clevis pin clip back on. If I have to ever do this again, I'll drill the pin and put in a cotter pin.

Thanx so much.

I have just discovered that the left front caliper is indeed leaking, however minutely. So now it's off to the parts store for a pair of stainless calipers. Did the back ones about 4 months ago. Should have replaced them all at one time.
