1986 vette, no power to fuel pump relay,
just bought an 86 vette basket case, I bought it for the drive line, their is no power at the fuel pump relay, fuses ar good, but there are 2 wires spliced at the computer, can anyone helpout with a wiring diagram, with out having to buy a complete manual, any help thanks Mark

Which wires? What color? What pins? Relay coil or relay contact power? If you want good help, you have to supply good information.
The fuel pump relay is powered by two places, one from the ECM (grn/wh), supplies +12v to the relay coil for 2 seconds when you turn on the ignition. The second supplies +12v to the relay contacts (orange). |

Baksu, When are you checking for power at the relay? On what relay terminals. RACE ON!!! |
Not to sound dumb, but are you checking the right relay? On 4+3 cars the fuel pump relay is right behind the overdrive relay, and is the exact same p/n.
