Atlanta Corvette Repair Shops?

Anyone know of a ggod Corvette repair shop in Atlanta area? Any near Suwanee?:flag:

The only Corvette repair shop I know of in the Atlanta area is American Corvette in Powder Springs, GA. Owner is Jim Bressner.

There may be a Corvette repair shop associated with The Last Detail off of I-85 in Chamblee but I have never used them. It is like a used car dealership, so there may or may not be a repair facility.

Arnold's Automotive. 64 Shawnee lane, Marietta. 770-578-8447. Owner used to have a Corvette and he works on mine as well as others in the area...The owner is my brother, but I pay him to work on mine...

Corvette Country in Fayetteville. Talk to John. 770-461-5211. All they do is Corvettes, very high quality work.

I have a great mechanic that works at Buford Dodge which is near Suwanee, he drives a Viper and fixed an engine problem for me that 3 other shops in the area couldn't. Dependng on the type of work your looking for, I would recommend him.

American Corvette in Powder Springs does good work. Be prepared to wait - usually a long waiting list.

Don't mean to hijack your thread, but what about machine shops? Someone has recommented Advanced Machine off of 75, but thats a pretty far drive for myself. Anyone know of any good machine shops in the area?

As far as machine shops, I'm sure there are many good ones. I used Garry Grimes at Grimes Automotive Machine in Alpharetta, GA. 770-475-5272. He is first class, does great work but is not the cheapest.

Finest engine builder in the southeast. He is proud of his work as he should be. Be preparied to wait and pay. He usually has about 40 motors to build at any given time. He also does some R&D for A NASCAR Team. If any of CFI owners need help he knows them like th back of his hand. He is currently building a bunch of LS1 motors.

I live in Marietta and am still looking for a good mechanic - car runs VERY hot after 30 minutes, no leaks, new cap, thermostat, water pump, plastic tanks - i am guessing head gasket at this point but want somebody who can diagnose, too many horror stories about trail and error - eventually with huge repair bills and no cure

Do you know if this is the same Garry Grimes from East Atlanta? I think he may have attended Atlanta Area Tech in the 70's. Let me know if it is the same.

You may want to try to find David Fulcher. He is well known in Callaway and ZR1 circles but also knows C2/C3s very well.

Not sure what you are looking for - what the issue may be - but I use "Genesis One" up on 400 near the outlet mall. BJ is the owner/mechanic and he does excellent work. He works on race cars, rebuilds/restores just about anything and has a lot of connections in the race car world. Check him out at his web page. "Genesis One"
