There is a specalized section devoted to cat audio but I suspect that the porblem is that while the opening is high and wide enough the problem is that it is not deep enough by a long shot:thumbs:

Not deep enough and the hole is din 1/2... not double din.
I wanted to do that but its a pain to make one fit. I have an Alpine IVA D310 flip-out touchscreen im going to run instead because the deck will fit a single din hole... |
A double din will fit but you will need to enlarge the radio bezel and cut out a plastic support that supported the Bose radio.

It does look sweet though... hmm... might have to do that now dammit! lol |
It can be done it just takes a little customization. I had to open up the console some and then sand and repaint. I'm still finishing it up.
 http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...eves1/DVD3.jpg It's tied up with a transmission rebuild at the moment. Hopefully I will have the finished pics in a few weeks. |

Nice! Did you just trim the stock bezel?

Circuit City installed a Pioneer AVIC-D3 with just a very little sanding of the plastic and a little change to a mounting backet. They said it was an easy install on my '91.
