What was original price of ZO6 ?
 

The above is from a for sale ad..and besides being somewhat
overpriced :eek: .. it got my attention cause it made me wonder what
these cars sold for new ? 2001-2004... And were any of the
years cheaper to buy than the others ?..ok..thanks..

The window sticker for my 2003 Z06 was right about $55,000 IIRC.

The "standard vehicle price" of my 02 was $49,910, $50.825 "total vehicle price" (including destination charge).

my window sticker on my 01-was $49,070.
..owner paid about 52k out the door in OK.

My 2002 Window Sticker Was $50,500.00

my 01' window sticker $48,570

My 02 was $49,705.
Add $150.00 for the memory package
$120. for electrochromic mirrors
$15.00 for license plate frame
and $645.00 destination charge

$50,635.00 total.

The sticker for my 03Z was $51545. The original owner paid $45+K at Kerbecks in October 2002.

My 04 shows 56K

might find its a frenzy guy who paid dealer mark up when these cars were new.

(2k1 was the first year.)

The sticker on my MY '03 was $53K and change w/ the MY color upcharge. The dealer then attempted to tack on a market adjustment upcharge of $10K :bs That went buh-bye before I even got back the sales office.

To the best of my knowledge no C5Z06 every stickered as high as $60K from the factory not even the '04 CE. Now that's not to say there weren't overzealous buyers who paid the stupidity tax because there were alot of them...

My 03 sticker says $54,000

Sticker for mine was $47885 b4 taxes. My '01 Z has 8600 miles, I'll beat that guy's price and let it go for $28K. Dollar's value is pretty crappy these days.

ORIGINAL Z06 price? I thought it was $3600, in 1963 ;)

It probably is not an exaggeration. The sticker price would have been closer to $50K, but with dealer adjustments many of the first cars were selling for over $60K. I have all of the paperwork on my 2001 Z06, and the original owner actually did pay over $59K (no trade involved) to be one of the first to own a Z06!

Summer of 2002 the dealer was asking 55,000 and I got it for 52,500.

My 2004 Z06 with no options was $52,985.00 including destination charges. At the time, GM was offering a $2,000.00 rebate, and I bought the car for around dealer invoice. I paid $42,000.00 plus tax in February of 2004.
