1973 StingRay Red

I am looking at the above car. Needs A/C rebuilt, window motors and switches and radio reworked. Engine was recently rebuilt 383 rebuilt in 2006. Vin number checks out. Mostly re firbed new paint 2 years ago, third owner. Father had car 22 years.

This will be a daily use car and project for my son and me.

We live in the DFW Texas area.

Would like to know availablity of parts, value if we finish the work and any other guidence.

Thanks

Follow-up to my earlier post.

I do not believe the vet came with a 383. Right/Wrong

Thanks

Sorry, they never came with 383's. It is either a crate engine or previous owner built it

More information and pictures would help to determine value. Typically, 73 Corvettes are not worth all that much. Parts are available from any of your Corvette Parts Suppliers.

Corvette Central
Mid America
Paragon Corvette
Keen Parts
etc.

You might have better luck posting in the C3 General section. Those guys know a bunch about these types of cars.

73 StingRay

Thank you for your feed back. I thought something was up, car "looks" good but has been for sale for quite awhile. Had another "project car" with my son and we really got burned on that one. Trying not to make the same mistakes.

Again thanks

I respectfully disagree, and so will the '73 owners on the forum.

Please forgive my comment. Was not meant in a negative way. I relate everything to a C2 being that those are the cars I follow. But you are correct, in the C3 market they do have value.
