C5 headlight doesn't work
 

My driver's side headlight was hit and miss on opening and is now not opening at all--the headlight comes on, but doesn't flip up---WTF?

either the motor is burned out,,,or a loose connection. I had a problem with the light not coming on,,,cleaned the connectors and worked fine

Check and clean the connections,,,if nothing, then replace motor

the brass/metal gear kit is what you need more than likely

Had the same problem about a month ago. Ordered the brass gear kit and installed it everything is working fine now. I found that the plastic gear had a rough or flat spot on the teeth of the gear.
