Super Vettes ZR1 extreme hood /What do you think
 

I'm thinking of getting a Super Vettes hood for my Vortec supercharged 05 c6. Anyone have any pics or info on hood. Will it clear the Vortec supercharger. What does the bottom side of the hood look like. How is the fit of hood. Looking for some more pis.

I love that hood. I think the vent higher on the car looks better than the intake on the nose like the Z06, ZR1, and GS.

That is one of the best hoods that I have seen on a C6. It fits right in with the C6 styling. :thumbs:

Bought the hood when it was called SS-Vette. Very good quality. You are going to have to ask the vendor about the supercharger being able to fit. I personally don't think it is going to fit.
Correction. Top mounted superchargers probably won't fit.
Vortec fits under a standard hood, it will fit under this one.

I love that hood, I think it will compliment your other body mods.

The hood is definitely good looking! You might want to find out what the weight is. Stock hood is around 28 lbs.

Does the hood vent at the cowl area (wiper area). Is the vent in hood functional.

I dont dig the double scoop look with that hood.

Anyone ever done the rear fenders, how do they deal with the fender liners not lining up.

Kinda of agree with you a little bit. Looks different in person especially with the dark stripe. Bought the hood as my first mod did the front widebody as my last mod so I learn to deal with it or spend more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to get another hood and have it custom painted.

I like it even more now that I looked at it a second time. for me, I only want to do the rear wide body and this hood would still give my car the front vented look. agree it would look funny on a vette with front wide body having 2 vents.

I like the top one better. The scoop area is cleaner.

Nice design, I would like to know if a top mount blower would fit. I hav the rear body kit, that hood would finish the front of the car:thumbs:

Looks decent with single scoop if I had to choose one or the other. Double scoop looks :ack: to me personally.
