Why dont you call the place you git it from? I would guess theyd know eh? I went with Powerbond through Texas Speed and they set me right up with both belt sizes.

Main Accessory Belt
Gatorback #4060775 = Metric #6KP1970 & Air Conditioning Gatorback #4040410 = Metric #4KP1040 For the Air Cond Belt if it's 25% underdrive too. Gatorbacks available at Summit Racing. |
im not sure, its a 25% slp harmonic balancer
|
From SLP: C5/C6 Corvette
Main Belt: Gates 6PK1900 or Equivalent Accessory Belt: Gates 4PK1040 or Equivalent You'll have to cross reference them if you don't want gates. |

I have the SLP and the underdrive is 77.5in in length and i believe the AC is 41in
|
okay, so i've done a little more research and it turns out that the
Gatorback 4040420 is 42 inches and the Gatorback 4040405 is 40.50 inches. if the required length is 41 inches, which is it better to go with? |

The stock Gatorback # is 4060798 so I would assume it's 79.8 " long.

So the correct belt size for a 2000 A4 is 40.5" belt right?
|
you know its ridiculous that you buy a part from a company like SLP and they cant even tell you the correct belt size that is needed. i spoke to Slp today and they're telling me to go measure it.
I HAVE NO MECHANICAL SKILLS AND MY MECHANIC IS OVER AN HOUR AWAY AND CANNOT ORDER THE PARTS ON SATURDAY WHEN IM GETTING THE WORK DONE. This is the last thing i'll buy from SLP. |
