Other people ordering the performance group have been put on constraint

Performance group - I assume it is the PDE package that includes the MPSC tires, close ratio gearbox. Perfect for track use. Let us know when you take it up to Pocono. :thumbs:

I thought, the PDE has the black wheels, did you order the machine face wheels as an override?

The '95 will live with me forever (I hope - providing I don't need it for my family or health needs). I personally didn't like the black wheels on this light of a car, hence the color of the wheels.

I'm eager to get it onto the track - it won't be long!

It wasn't my top color choice, however it just felt right! Needless to say we went for it! After seeing it in person I'm really happy with our choice.

I respect your and anyone elses thoughts on color - it's all good.

Beautiful ZR1 Lance....that color is awesome on your ZR1 with blue calipers and the carbon fiber along with the painted wheels.....enjoy....hope you have it on display at the show in a few weeks.

To answer your question, the PDE (or Z07 or a Z06) comes with a black cup-wheel. For an upgrade you can go with the machined wheels. The only way to get that wheel is to upgrade from the PDE or upgrade the Centennial which comes with cup wheels.

Also, the gear shifter on the PDE is insane! That is how a supercar should feel when you are shifting it! (by the way, thanks for letting me drive it Lance)!

As far as the color...you must see it in person! When Lance was ordering this car we were both a little worried about the color but now that I've seen it in person, its a winner! Don't go by pictures, go see it in person!

Didn't think I'd like the Carlisle Blue but agree that it looks very nice. Welcome to the ZR1 club. You are now the owner of a truly awesome car! Enjoy.

The car will be on display along with our "Road to Carlisle Blue" display - parked right when you drive into the entrance of Gate 3 during Corvettes at Carlisle - August 26-28.

It's a love/hate color... if you're looking for a sinister look, this certainly isn't the color for you... but the Centennial ZR1 is! My wife absolutely LOVES the color and so does my Mom. I dig it in person, but the pics just don't do it justice. It's a true honor to have the color honor our 30th Anniversary for Corvettes at Carlisle - very cool indeed!
