Hatch Lid Pop Assist **ON SALE $14.99** Must Have Accessory!

Does your hatch lid open enough to get your fingers in when you press the release button? Have you resorted to slamming the doors or jarring the hatch with an object to get it open?

You're not alone! Most Corvette owners experience this very common annoyance. We have a simple solution to the problem however. No need to go buy new hatch struts at $100 + a set. Our newest product requires no drilling, cutting or modifying the current hatch. Your Vette remains stock at the install site! Install takes less than 5 minutes:thumbs:

The kit consists of a high compression spring and cap to protect the carpet. The spring is the exact size needed to pop the hatch high enough to get your fingers in there. The kit works with all Corvette model variations.

ON SALE $14.99!

How about to re-close the hatch? I don't push it down, just let it slam. Would it still shut like this? or will the spring now allow it?

Thanx!

If you're able to let the hatch close with out any downward pressure, I'd say your shocks are nearly dead....

The spring adds a bit of upward resistance, but shouldn't effect the way you close your hatch, especially if you have a coupe...

I should have pointed out I do this with the window down or the door open; otherwise, it won't close by just letting it fall.

ahh, makes sense. For a bit of time, you may need to give it a bit of force to get it close, but as the spring breaks in you should not have any issues getting it to accept the closing without force.

Is this a stick-on? How does it install?

My plastic cap broke within a couple of days having it on. Do you sell replacement caps?

I've had to use my California Duster bag flap as a buffer between the spring and carpet to keep the carpet from getting eaten up.

:(

Hi, I am new to all these C6 mods and it would be nice if you would show the install process on many of your parts. I thought this was only a C5 problem, I have no issues with my C6

Just ordered one for my 2005 convertible. Been having issues with the lift supports not lifting and hope this means not having to buy new ones! :D
