ZR1 Boat

I am sure this has been seen by some of you, but I thought I would share for the rest. It looks pretty dead on to what a ZR1 boat would be if Chevy built one, all carbon fiber and power galore.....

I wonder if they have down-riggers, live wells, and refrigerated lockers?

1.7 mil and a Cobalt steering wheel. :)

C6ToGo 10-07-2011 06:36 AM

I clicked on the thread expecting to find a pic of an actual ZR1 that went off the road and into a lake.

dgrant3830 10-07-2011 10:58 AM

Well, its a nice boat but I'd rather be driving a ZR1 on a road.

I never get these comments. It's a corporate steering wheel (many cars had it), and the Corvettes is a smaller diameter. But whatever...

Yeah, but for 1.7 million, you think they could have splurged and gone for the Caravaggio appointed wheel.

I don't think you can "troll" at 170mph.

I had a chance to check out the ZR48 at MIBS last February, and it was a pretty slick boat. It was probably one of the more popular boats inside the convention center along with the Ducati & AMG Cigarette boats in the display area next to MTI.

How fast does it go, I might be interested in it.............

I used to be into that type of boat (but not nearly that expensive!). Take them out in about a 3-4' "chop" and you can't believe how much fun they are. It gives new meaning to the old saying "get in, sit down, shut up and hold on".

Here is my last boat....

The MTI Cats on our lake that are similar are running 170-180mph

Check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZz74...eature=related

These engines produce 1350hp on 92 octane thats incredible, they sell an 1150 that runs on 89, twin turbo intercooled, excess boost is routed back to the intake not the exhaust .... incredible 1 year warranty as well thats confidence. youtube 1350's lots of gofast...... look at DCB of Cali 177mph 40pitch props against the rev limiter at 6200rpm 9.0ltrs at 6300 rpm BADASS on PUMP GAS
