Drag info has great drag racing vids, and this one isn't an exception. The focus is on seeing how the 458 stacks up against tuned versions of it's competition. At first, it seems a little unfair to put a stock car against supercharged versions of already fast cars. But consider the cost of the Ferrari against the other cars in the video and suddenly the comparison makes a lot for sense.

True, but do keep in mind that the C6 ZR1 does come from the factory already supercharged. I'm sure you knew that of course but just wanted to make sure that anyone else reading this that might not know that doesn't suddenly think that someone actively put a supercharger on a fast car that didn't already have one. :)

And yes, that particular ZR1 was aftermarket modified, but recent acceleration results have shown that even a properly driven stock C6 ZR1 (capable of 10.6 second 1/4 mile ETs with nearly 133mph trap speeds :yesnod:) would very likely still beat a stock Ferrari 458 in a straight line as well. :steering:

I would love to see a Ferrari guy line up against Klyle, Bruce, Gary, Rob...

Atco is open every weekend. Crowds are light, so plenty of passes to get your yugo dialed in. They are having a grocery getter race next week. nothing faster than 16.0 dial in. and a .700 pro tree. Maybe you can cut a reasonably good light with that tree... you'll still go home first round... :D

agreed. that ZR1 should have beat the Ferrari by a lot more than that. I would take that AMS GTR in a heartbeat tho. I love those cars.
