'54 Roadster... Woody?
Read about it here: '54 Roadster... Woody?
This is probably the first and last time we'll see a Corvette with any wood on it at all. I'm not sure if that's something to be grateful for or not. Honestly? I think it's kinda cool and well done, but man is it weird to look at. Check it out in the link above or jump to the gallery here. |
hahhaha....:rock::rock:
Looks like half of a Hot tub turned upside down and attached to the trunk area.:eek::leaving: |
Personally, I hope it's the last time...........:ack:

Guy has big brass ones to take it to a meet. The critics must have been rabid.
Nice car. Terrible additions. Looks like it's just the trunk lid. Removable? To each his own.:lol::lol: |

That's a fact, it has been around for many years. I first saw it out at a Shaker village outside Bowling Green, Ky in 1992 during the groundbreaking for the Corvette Museum. Got Zora's autograph as well on the Corvette bulldozer but that's another story...
Thanks, Mike |

It's a Philippine mahogany drop-in after removing the deck lid. George is a GM Styling retiree, and just had the car restored (for the second time in the 50 years he's owned it) three years ago. :thumbs:

Was there an intended use for this tub?
|
Saw it many times at Werner Meier's shop (Masterworks). I just couldn't make myself take a close look at it.:ack:
