I saw both non and vented are available. Are these made in the US? What's the warranty?

jaa1992 01-13-2013 04:57 PM

Gen I or Gen II or both?

What brand optical pickup is used?

More details!

SacCityCorvette 01-14-2013 01:50 PM

Hi,
They have a one year warranty.
I believe the are made offshore somewhere but not sure where.
Not sure what brand opti they use. Will see if we can find out.

SacCityCorvette 01-17-2013 12:08 PM

One Year Warranty! Non race of course.

Robert Thomas 01-17-2013 12:49 PM

Where's it made?
:toetap:

SacCityCorvette 01-17-2013 02:59 PM

The company just says the parts are made offshore.

SacCityCorvette 01-22-2013 02:40 AM

Great price with a great warranty!

JoeUser 01-22-2013 10:44 AM

Very affordable. But, unless I know whether it uses the Mitsubishi opti I'll pass.

At that price it's highly unlikely. I would like to hear from someone that's bought one...Opti is going out on my LT4 and I missed a chance at a brand-new Delphi for $200. Damned Camaro guy beat me to it...:ack:

Is the Mitsubishi opti the only one that can work?

SacCityCorvette 01-23-2013 08:17 PM

I know some of you have your doubts about this ProComp Optispark. I think if it were a product with a lot of defects it would be all over the internet. I'm sure every brand of opti (even GM) has its failures. Just saying!:toetap: We do not manufacture the ProComp
Optispark, and are just a dealer for them. If we determine that they are not reliable or are of poor quality we will discontinue selling them.

SacCityCorvette 01-29-2013 04:28 PM

If you need a Optispark, this one is worth checking out!

I threw a Summit Racing white box gen II on my 383 and its performed well for a year of racing. Its going back on the new 383 soon for another year - I hope.

I would assume these are about the same quailty, a little cheaper. But we still don't know if they are Gen !, Gen II or both available.

SacCityCorvette 02-01-2013 09:17 PM

We have both vented and non vented!
Gen II are the vented Opti's.

redcorvettedave 02-04-2013 03:13 PM

I'll nibble a bid?

Can you tell me how much total including shipping for a gen I for 94 vette to zip 31419?

anciano 02-04-2013 04:57 PM

Christian, do you install? If so, how much is the charge?
