At least I know you are not a thief..taking a blade to the top is silent breaking a window, on the other hand , takes a lot more effort plus it makes noise. I have never had a window broken in any car on trips. I wish I could say the same about my convertible. In fact in my C 5 I just leave the doors unlocked. Nothing in the car to steal. If they want to steal the car, either car, non of the above makes any difference. :smash:

I would not go so far as to say the Vert looks better than the Coupe, but, it sure looks nice. I'd say it would be a real beauty if the price difference was only 2 grand or less. Then I'd be impressed.
|
Post pictures of it with the top up, and it'll look worse.
|
I disagree with the op. Love the coupe, not a fan of the vert.

Coupe vs convertible
I have had both. Why does it matter which you prefer?
|
These vert vs coupe threads are like arguing which ice cream flavor is best...chocolate of vanilla. It's a matter of personal preference and I prefer the vert after having owned both.

Never bought a convertible because of the winters we have up here in Montreal Canada last 2 days was -25 Celcius.
However I know someone who said the convertibles tend to be warmer inside, then a hardtop because less metal to freeze the interior. Is that true?:) |
Wow! This is the first picture that I have seen of the Vert.
I like it! I didn't like the C 6 although it did grow on me. I have a C 5 Vert which I love. I'm not a woman nor a ***. Just my 2 cents worth. |

I have owned both coupes and convertibles. I always get nervous when I travel over night that some fool will get into my car by slicing the roof. I would rather have a convertible but I am buying the coupe. I plan on driving coast to coast and I will rest much better,,:toetap:
Buy what you really want. |
