Thanks, just having a little adventure! The trip back back across the border in Tijuana was no picnic. 3 hour stop and go while traffic with all the street vendors and beggars plying their trade. Also, this was in 2008 before all the cartel stuff became big news. But at least you already know how absolutely beautiful and pristine that coast is once you get south of Tijuana

No, sleeping in the vehicle after drinking all night is frowned upon here. :D

The reason you have never slept in yours is because you drink all night, every night?

"Ever slept in your C6?"

Just once briefly....then I decided I should stop driving and get a room for the night. ;) Joking aside, I've slept in worse places. If circumstances called for it I could sleep in the Corvette.

Here I thought this thread was about something else, like with someone. And yes, that's possible too. :D

cmonkey713 01-31-2013 10:23 PM

Depends on what your deffinition of "sleep" is?

I had a 1977 Olds Toronado once. That was a sofa on wheels. The Vette? Couldn't sleep in it if i tried. I need a shoe horn to get in and out of it.

Yea, I snoozed back there for a few hours while attending the Rolex 24 last year (had to miss this year's race, darn it). Stretched out in the back area the way you described.

I was so tired, I could have slept standing up.

There's so many homeless people near the Daytona Beach area, I would not think of doing it there.

When I took my Road Trip last year I slept in my GS at a rest stop for about 2 hours. I slept in the drivers seat, It was ok for the short time. I had gotten very tired and decided to rest a bit!!!

I want to die like my Grandfather in his sleep. Not screaming like the other people in the car with him...

ravill 02-01-2013 12:27 PM

I slept curled up in the back of my vette once. I loved it!!
