2005 Corvette On Ebay $23k

Thinking about buying this vette on I found on ebay.

$23000

Its got 62000 miles and looks like its in pretty good condition.

Its a base model with Automatic Transmission, HUD and Heated Seats.

Clean title 1 owner.

What do you guys thing about the price?

Harry Marsh 02-02-2013 07:04 AM

Depends on color
1,000 overpriced if white or silver
Miles are a bit high. Lots of 30k mile cars around $24k if you will take a 2005 model

But a better price than many. If dsom or one of the more desirable colors, that helps
For an extra few 1,000, you could be surprised what else you could get. Even a convertible. I think the early.c6 will still drop in price some more over the next few months as dealer inventory increases...people unloading to ready for a c7

Not sure where you are located but it sounds like the same stats as my car. I have nav, both tops, and magnetic ride though. My post has pics and more info. Let me know if you are interested. Call/text 608-370-3202 or pm

probably this one

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2005-...ht_1804wt_1165

similar cars have sold 20-21k. i'd either bid or see if they will accept offers. 23 is pretty much retail

since we're talking SF

this sure appears to be the better deal to negotiate on

i try to post up good deals worth going to look at when i run across them. red seems to have the highest premium and silver the lowest

Silver is a deal breaker for me.

Here's a newer C6 with lower mileage. Take a look.

nice looking car but it's one you would have to play the price game on. it's posted way over going rate so it's having to call and talk to find out of the guy is stuck there or willing to play the comparable sales game

What do you guys thing about the price?

The price is fair for a 3LT car if its never had any paint work, no accidents, doesn't need tires, brakes, service etc. When you start to approach 7 years of age each individual car will determine its own value per miles, condition and options.

Sure there will always be a car that someone can find "cheaper" on the internet that they never looked at, never spoke to the person, etc and it just may be that " a cheaper car or lessor car". Everyone knows 1 or 2 8 year old cars do not make the market. If you want Silver, 3LT, 1 Owner, ...... then go look at the car and determine if its truly been a well cared for car. Once you've looked at enough junk you will know a really nice car when you see it.

he likely either sold the car or your email is in his spam box. not sure why people don't list phone numbers in car ads :crazy2:

weez58 02-04-2013 07:59 PM

I tried both of my email addresses and I had a buddy send an email. The ad has been up for quite a while....

Yeah thats the one http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?n...d=150989741350

I went to see this car and it is really clean. Runs and drives nice.

The reserve is $20k. I was going to wait to see if it sells. If it doesnt I will offer the guy $19,500

I have been looking for a while now in the bay area and prices are not as low as you guys have been quoting. I went to look at an 07 with 60k miles but the guy wouldnt budge from 25,500.

would be surprised if it doesn't hit reserve. doubt it will go much over but the common close on a similar car is right in that 19,500-20,500 range. if they would take 20k flat and you like it i'd buy it and have them end the auction. there's a chance it would go 20,500ish, least 50/50 odds

this also prevents you from having to deal with guys like the 2007 seller who want over market value for their car. lot of those guys around and a waste of time to talk to
