geez that steering wheel looks big.

Should have been a flat bottom version. Reminds me of the Gumby wheel from the first C6.

ATC399 02-07-2013 11:39 AM

Nice pic...Not very realistic unless the base C7 ups the ante on HP...

arkus 02-07-2013 11:40 AM

ha ha
interior is fine

I think it was stated its smaller than the C6 wheel

C02VETTE 02-07-2013 11:45 AM

You will be able to beat a Viper...even in neutral...

z06801 02-07-2013 11:49 AM

looks like it's about to have its doors pulled off both sides:lol:

Yuuuup. 370mm -> 360mm. Doesn't sound like much but you'll feel it.

Steering wheel talk at 3:40.

ttboost1 02-07-2013 12:00 PM

First- that isn't going to happen- yeh i just beat 2 640hp vipers...not

Second- I agree- Ugly steering wheel.

Third- hopefully the new non-stingray version of the z06 is much better.

zland 02-07-2013 12:04 PM

I think I read that they have not finalized the steering wheel yet.

ATC399 02-07-2013 12:07 PM

Nothing wrong with the wheel, its smaller/thicker than before...you miss the old malibu wheel?

Racerdave24 02-07-2013 12:13 PM

Is that indicator on the right of the tach, under the 7K mark, indicating 1st gear?

If so, that's some awfully tall gearing.:D

I don't get your frustration. I will explain the picture to you. The car is doing what looks like 160mph on the speedo...There are two vipers in the mirror. The shifter appears to be in the neutral position. Did you think i was actually stating that as a fact?

Certainly you mean the "Doughboy" wheel from 2005? Doh! :D

The 2013 C6 ZR1 now holds the production car lap record at Laguna Seca and I have little doubt that the C7 ZR1(?) will best the new Viper at Laguna Seca by an even greater margin.

At Laguna Seca, the C6 ZR1 is not only faster than the new Viper and much easier to drive at speed, but it is also faster than the Ferrari 458 Italia, the Lamborghini Aventador, the Lexus LFA, the Audi R8 GT, the Porsche GT3 RS, and the Nissan GT-R.

So, I think these rear view mirror views are simply foretelling the future.

How many Vette owners track their Vettes?

How do we know that the Vipers aren't in fact closing, getting ready to pass (or lap) the C7?

yes, you missed his point. It went over you head. He was referring to the car looking so much better anyway.
