First Racing Stripe C7 model (Silver on Yellow) photos! Grand Sport model??

Just saw these in an email from Corvette7. They're saying that it might even be a Grand Sport model.

Didn't embed many as spy photographers go after posters sometimes. :leaving:

Full pics set at Corvette7.

Look like GM copied my idea. I Photoshopped these stripes on C7 last month

The official one is shaped differently though. I like how it goes from narrow to wide.

Would look better in a widy body (imo)

In the second pic it appears as though the rear fascia is just stuck on and not a part of the real car.

Good spot. Wonder what that's about.

I was told the GS will have fogs.

Those stripes are right off the 60th anniversary Vettes.

Hood fits well!

Dont see all the creases/lines in the hood?

Source?

If true, that would be good sign whether this may be or isn't gran sport.

I noticed that as well. The only thing I could come up with is that these cars are pre-production and this one in particular may be missing some fasteners. As such, they may have used some color tape to help hold the rear fascia on in that area or to hide an unsightly gap. Another possibility is that there maybe some inner liner pieces missing on these prototypes so they may have used to tape to cover areas that water or ice could have intruded into which would make some sense given they are testing in the snow. .

That or it's some new fangled ultra light weight fastening process!

Well we know what the turn signals look like in back and just how much and where all the dirt is going to be on that back end.

Still dont care for the chrome strip in the grill.

using tape instead of fasteners and sealant cuts down on weight....

I'm getting really tired of the Disney Cars look, making the head lights look like eyes and that dental retainer up front is strange.

BUT i do like the stripes.

This doesn't look like a performance model IMHO. The calipers, rotors, and tires appear no different than those on the Z51 model. Even the C6 Grand Sport had a big brake package...

Please tell me that they are going to paint the spoiler yellow. The lower portion of the rear needs to be painted body color too.
