Who drives a C-4? demographics

Hi, I just bought one, when I brought it and put it in the garage, my white 6 speed 1990, someone in my family asked:What is that ?
Who drives those things anyway?
So, what is it you owners do for a living?
I figure all walks of life, I already know all ages!
It's for pure hobby pleasure!

If they have to ask what it is they don't deserve a response or explanation.
Anyway I'm IT. Welcome to the club

I think you will find that it is not what we do for a living that we have in common. It's what we do in our spare time. :)

C4 owners are a mixed bag from young first time owners to old farts like me that owned them new off the showroom and have always liked them. The C1 C2 and early C3 owners tend to be older as the prices have become expensive on those models. A C4 can be bought relatively cheap and are the best bang for your buck in a vette.

I just traded a 71 Nova SS for my ZR-1. 47yrs old, kids grown, have several cats though. I work as a baggage handler for a major airline. Wife owns a small mortgage business. I'm pretty mechanically inclined - but don't really have the time or space for big projects. This car I can just uncover it and drive it wherever whenever. Might do some minor upgrades in the future - but prob just general maintenance....

ROFL! That explains all the mods you have done to your vette written up on several forums. Makes it easy to get in there and work in places Chevy designed for micro-hands.I keep bumping into your posts doing searches as i decide what to do to mine.
