Opened for me.

Saw that, also shows the 7k+ rpm cutoff
If you can't open it, it says 465hp/448ftlb, curve is proportionally greater than LS3, high low-end torque |
that sucks.

This compares the Hp/Tq of the 2014 C7 LT1 to existing C6 LS3
LT1 = 465 HP / 447 ft/lb Tq Attachments _________________________ JR True Custom Performance Tuning Teamzr1.com |

I can't open it either...... :willy:

If this is true it looks like 36 more hp and 22 more ft lbs of tq than the LS3.

Nothing new here. This is just the chart from the SAE paper published a few weeks ago.
The most interesting thing to note is the graph leading to 7k RPM while the car and engine has been publically revealed to have a 6600rpm rev limit. |

The optional NPP exhaust brings the LS3 up to 436hp/428tq of course but the optional exhaust on the LT1 would likely bring it up to 471hp/451tq as well? (if these numbers are even accurate that is). |

The most interesting thing to note is the graph leading to 7k RPM while the car and engine has been publically revealed to have a 6600rpm rev limit. In the bash video Jim Mero said it was limited to 6600, but he may not have been honest. He asnwered very quickly, and maybe was keeping things quiet. Also in the exterior design bash video Kirk Bennion talked about having the car @ 7000 RPM for some marketing photos and videos. So, maybe redline is 6600 and fuel cutoff is 7100, or maybe in certain modes additional RPM is available (track mode, for example). Maybe they just didn't want to spill the beans about 7000 and therefore kept mentioning the 6600 redline of the LS3. Or maybe it doesn't really get to 7000 except under laboratory testing. I personally think (hope) it will end up with the ability to get to 7000, and that they just aren't ready to give out that info yet. -T |
From the graph it looks like the peak HP is at 6600 RPM, and is down 7 KW at 7000 RPM. So, it makes sense to have rev limiter at 6600 RPM - max power.

Would be nice to see them raise the usable rpm to 7000. S. |
when I read about 7K rpm vs. 6600 rpm, I begin to wonder about engine life. especially as it relates to getting more than 100K miles out of it (since dropping dead at 100.1K miles wouldn't put a smile on anyone's face:rofl:) and that pesky thing called a "warranty from GM on the powertrain."

Wouldn't it actually be 35hp and 23tq (or 24tq) more (base LS3 is 430hp/424tq)?
