Did my weatherstrip with no glue

The weatherstrip around my windshield fit so well from mid america, that i didnt use any glue. It just fit tight right down in the little channel. Anyone see a problem doing this? Anyone else ever use no glue?

IMHO, if the factory used it, I'd do the same. Car companies rarely waste money using/installing unnecessary items. Check the Assembly Manual. Just my 2 cents.

I installed new weatherstripping on the A and B pillars several years ago without glue, and have never had a problem.

I used a tiny bit of glue at the ends and the corners and have had no problems. I dont think it will matter if you do or don't as long as it is installed correctly.

I used glue on mine....I wish I would have gone glue free.
