Torch Red wheels
Which do you think goes best with TR between silver or black?
I like both, but if I were ordering a red C7 tomorrow, I would choose the black wheels
Black.
If you like black, it's a good combo. I ordered silver.
I would go Black for only 495.00!
Black z51 wheels. :yesnod:

Off-topic but its not a significant enough question to start a new thread - does anyone here know what level of premium membership is needed to attach photos to your posts? I see a few different levels but attaching photos to posts isn't specifically mentioned for any of them.

Sterling Silver -- Provided that the Silver has high content metal flake. :D
I ordered silver... replacing them with after market tinted and brushed wheels.
I am getting Torch Red (w/ Z51) and am torn on the wheels. I was set on black, but now looking at some better pictures of the silver wheels, it looks stunning too, less aggressive but just as sexy.
So I am torn :( Can people start posting real photos of each, this thread may help my decision! :yesnod: I was sold on black until I saw this picture: http://i1175.photobucket.com/albums/...ps16a383ae.jpg |

With wheels think about the human eye...
Put black wheels on a bright color like red or yellow and from a distance the human eye can't perceive the detail of the black wheel. the contrast is too much to overcome, especially when it is bright outside or there is good lighting. This makes the wheels look like black circles. Put black on a dark car and your eye can see the detail of the wheels and all the depth and details. Put bright wheels on a dark car and the wheels become the focus and you lose some of the car's detail... Put bright wheels on a bright car and you can see the detail of everything. That is it in a nutshell. It depends on how you want your car to look. There is no right and wrong with the way the car looks  Keep this general idea in mind when you see cars on the road and at shows and you'll see exactly what I'm trying to describe. Especially at distances where the whole car is in view Vs. being close up to it in order to focus on one thing. |
Silver with Red Calipers
I ordered black on a Torch Red car and also backed the wheels with red calipers. I think the red calipers are a MUST if you do black wheels on that red car. IMAGINE how good that will look at speed on the road!
