Anyone ever have an AC flap come loose
 

from the shaft???

My 99 coupe started blowing ambient air from the drivers vents while the a/c is on...The passenger vents are ice cold...Ive ran into this before on other C5s and it's always been the drivers side A/C actuator motor......I replaced the actuator motor to no avail..still blowing ambient temp thru the driver's vents.....Bit the bullet and took it to the dealer...Theyre telling me the actuator is working fine and the problem is the driver's flap has broken loose from the shaft :toetap:...Cost??...Well over $1000 as it's only avaiable as an assembly....

Anyone experience this??
