WTB CCW 505a's
 

I'm in the market for some 19" CCW 505a's. I'm a new member but you can check my rep over at LS1Tech, same user name.

I can offer cash or can trade my 17" Gunmetal ZR1 rims with Nitto drag radials for them.

The previous owner had them on my car and they look really nice :)

If anyone has AXIS HIRO rims (19") or know where you can get them let me know, I love those rims but can't find them anywhere so I will have to settle for the CCW's I guess.

There's a used set in the Houston Craigslist right now for 1300. That's not a bad price at all.

That set is polished and not chrome, just something to note.

I'd rather have polished aluminum rims to be honest.

Ahh gotcha. The upkeep of the polished ones suck though so when you posted up you wanted Chrome I thought maybe that was the reason. I'm looking into coatings to put into the polished ones to make them stay shiny longer.

Some people say once the polished wheels get wet or brake dust is on them you then have some polishing to do to get the shine back. If you really let them go there are people that spend hours polishing them to get that mirror like shine back from what I read.

Eh car only comes out on nice days anyways lol

Anyone here wanna go check them out for me and possibly buy them and ship them to me (after I pay you of course). I'd trust you guys more then some guy on Craigslist.

If i wasn't going out of town this weekend I'd go look at them for sure. If he can came meet me somewhere near the Hobby Airport side of town during the week, i'd be glad to check them out.

I used to own the set on this car. Sold them to a fella in North Carolina. Nothing like polished CCWs.

I also emailed the guy from Craigslist. Asked for pictures of wheels off of the car and shipping costs and some other questions. Pretty much ignored my requests. Raised a red flag for me. Let me know if this works out for you.

Me too. I asked for pictures and he dropped off the map. The curb rash can probably be sanded out and polished, but who knows without actual pictures of the damage.
