Is the 2LT an unusual option package?

When I was ordering my '13 GS in November of 2012, I gave the salesman very specific ordering information. When I said 2LT, he looked at me like I was a Leper. He said, ...."are you sure? We get very few orders for a 2LT, you mean 3LT right?"

I said no, the 2LT gives me all the options I want. When he gave the information to the guy who inputs the order to Bowling Green, he also said, "2LT, are you sure?"

Since I took delivery of my car on Jan 24th, 2013, I have in fact noticed many 1LT, and 3LT C6 'vettes, but haven't come across another 2LT.

There has to be other 2LT owners out there...right?

If you have one of these rare birds, post a photo. I know they cannot be distinguished from other Corvettes, I just like l(.)(.)king at 'vette photos.

They are option packages; higher the number, more options, more $$$$

I have an 11GS 2LT. silver. Love it most of the time, but I wish I had the HUD.

The 2LT included the HUD, was this not so on the 2011 models?

I have a 09 Z51 2lt. I added HUD a couple months ago. It was much cheaper than the option from the factory. Took about 6 hours to do right, not the cutting of the AC duct method.

Not in 2011.

2LT is not a rare option package.

Thanks for that info....apparently in my area, there aren't a lot of 2LT packages. It was all I needed. I would have liked the power telescoping steering column though.

When I was looking for my Vette, it seemed like there were very few 2LTs. People either bought no option 1LTs, or fully loaded 3LTs. I guess in later years they added more of the 3LT features to the 2LT package.

The photo looks like Blade Silver Hash Marks, on Cyber Gray. I've not seen that before. Mine is the reverse.

We're all using the word "rare" in a sarcastic way.

Not exactly, as there were a total of 1,367 GS coupes ordered with the 2LT package and a combined total of 2,241 2LT's produced which includes the coupes and convertibles or 16.6% of all 2013 produced.

Still, a pretty low percentage. Looks like the 3LT is the most popular.
