Item was sold to a forum member, item was unlocked to my knowledge when it was sent. I got an email today stating it is locked. I find it hard to believe but advised member to send it back to me. Member got angry and said he wished I hadn't said it was unlocked and I was wasting his time and money and he could have me banned from the forum. I told member to shove the programmer.

So you cant guarantee it works??? Without the model or revision how can someone know what they're buying???

Because it functioned flawlessly as a scan tool on my obd2 lt1 but won't tune it because they didn't make a lt1 canned tune, serial # is 100294 September 2002, software 1.03, hardware 1.00

umm yeah look at the original post, I edited it before you got in on the action, I have nothing to hide.....
I have sold many things on this forum including two C6 Z06s, never any complaints, this issue is not the Predator its Daves attitude, I dont expect to ask someone to return something for a refund and then get threatened, according to his last email it's "SHOWTIME!!".


here is the message I got AFTER I offered a refund-

I spoke to DiabloSport and they told me that the unit you have cannot be unmarried from the original car.
If you have the original car then it will still work ON THAT CAR only.
If you don't then it never worked for you. I wish you wouldn't have said that it was UNLOCKED. You never did show that as I printed out the entire thread from day one prior to it saying sold.
This was really a waste of my time and my money for shipping.
Forum rules state that you cannot sell anything that does not work.
You can get banned for that.

Uh huh...except you didn't post the very next screen which is EXACTLY what my picture showed. LOCKED!!!!!
This unit CANNOT be UNMARRIED from the ORIGINAL VIN per DiabloSport!!!! Back in the day, you had to BUY credits per tune to a single vin. It could not be shared EVER!! The newer ones can, not the old ones!!!

I hope you get this resolved, but if you don't, you might consider trading this unusable predator for $100 credit towards the new Intune or Trinity. I hpe the seller does the right thing, but this is an option...good luck!

You could've done the noble thing and thrown this in the trash where it belongs or given it away to someone and told them honestly that it was locked.

you've put in a paypal complaint against me, I offered to refund you then you started accusing me of selling it to you knowing it was locked, to the best of my knowledge it was unlocked. I have never knowingly ripped off anyone , however I have no tolerance for a**holes

and it is not a doorstop, worst case it is a $100 credit ...................


Mods please lock this thread, I am done arguing with this gentleman, notice I am being accused of being a liar and a cheat, I have not once suggested he is sending me back a LOCKED version he already had or maybe he tuned his car and now wants the $$$$ back to boot, usually the people in life who accuse are the guilty parties
