FS: 1967 Corvette Coupe
1967 Coupe, 427/390hp, Powerglide, positraction, air conditioning, PS, PB, PW, rally wheels, AM/FM, Goodwood Green, white hood and white vinyl interior. ALL numbers match, owner's manual with Protecto-Plate, one unused red-line Firestone tire, second owner since 1970. Unrestored, 45,216 miles, $72,000.
Miscellaneous small parts, manuals and tools included. All mechanical work was done by me since purchase in 1970 and I can relate the car's history. Vehicle was stored since 1989 and the engine was very carefully prepared for restarting a few weeks ago - it sounds like it did in 1970 ... I've driven it two miles since to check basic functions. PM me with your email address and I'll send photos. |
Interest in your car

thankyou email = sobol541@verizon.com |
Might consider a trade for a 62 FI of similar value.

If anyone has PM'ed me and received no response, please try again - apparently the forum PM mechanism is not 100% reliable - there were two that just disappeared this morning - I replied to one but not the other.

I have talked to the owner who sounds like a great guy still in the Corvette hobby even thought this car has been stored for some years. I am glad to hear he has it running. Would make a good SURVIVOR or BOWTIE car, but also a good one to restore.
I have a friend that wants a car like this, but is stuck on a twin that is silver with teal leather in Ohio. |
In the Category of: Who cares about my opinion, but I will give it anyway

I have a friend that wants a car like this, but is stuck on a twin that is silver with teal leather in Ohio. I am quite familiar with both cars having considered the purchase of each. That said, I decided to go an entirely different directions -- that is a story for another time & place. That said, unless one has a color bias or intends to fully restore either car, Glenn's car wins "hands down". |

I’ve looked at this car twice and it is a very original and nice car. I have two Benchmark/Bow Tie ’67 big blocks and two other Survivor ‘67’s, so I’m pretty familiar with what it takes to win these awards. This car has the nicest original white interior I’ve ever seen. In the right hands, this car would Bow Tie and or Benchmark. I just wasn’t up for the task with two other projects. The motor, in my opinion, has never been out of the car and the stamp is original and beautiful. The Protect O Plate is an original and beautiful piece. It probably has a tank sticker, but the rubber around the gas cap was so brittle, I didn’t want to chance damageing someone elses car. With some time and money, this car would be a ’67 big block that could bring home lots of awards without a restoration. It really needs to be cleaned and pampered.

Glenn You are an extremely patient man. I hope the new owner plans to show the car "as is". |
It was sold to a great caretaker. We will see it in a year or so at the normal ''shows''.
