What are you OCD over?

What are you guys most OCD over when it comes to your Corvettes? :ack:

I'd have to say my biggest pet peeve is dirty exhaust tips so I am constantly polishing and wiping down my tips. Either that or finger prints... My wife almost stabbed me one night when I instinctively swatted her hand when she leaned on the rear quarter panel.

:willy:

My girlfriend put her feet on my dash one day while cruising down the 101. She had slipped her flip flops off, but she almost got dumped.

I have a black car. Enough said.

deadsexyii 08-28-2013 03:24 PM

How many California Dusters have you gone through?

Every time I try to reply as to what I'm OCD over, my ADHD kicks in and I forget the question . . . . .

Zoomin 08-28-2013 03:32 PM

That would be one, but what I have always thought to myself when a pass a car and the passenger has their feet up on the dash, is what would happen if they were all of a sudden in an accident at that dash air bag deployed?

I don't like having my cup holder open when nothing is inside it.

I've wondered that as well.

Back in the late 80's we were riding our bike down I-95 between DC and Richmond. We were riding a full dressed Yamaha on a trip to TN. Then it happened. A guy passed us on a cruiser type bike. He was leaned back on a duffel bag which was on the rear passenger seat and had his legs thrown over... yes, I said OVER the handlebars. I could not believe that anyone would ride like that.
I wonder if that guy is still alive?

I'm OCD about C7 posts in the C6 forum. :toetap:

Seriously, I'm not OCD about my Vette. It truly is just a car to me, albeit a very fun car. I drive it all the time. I race it. It rained here two days ago and it's dirty because I haven't washed it yet. (I know that will bring out the OCD in some people. )

We're not OCD about the wife's Shelby either, it's her DD, and just a car as well, although it's holding its value much better than my Vette.

Passengers not slamming the door, or flinging it open for that matter.

That's funny, I feel the same way.

C6ROLLER 08-28-2013 04:22 PM

I dont leave the cup holder open if there's no drink in there, can't stand that...everytime I get home I do a full splatted bug inspection/wipe down with detail spray of the front end...i don't like pulling the ebrake super hard or too easy (I have a M6) true OCD...
