Marty from Oregon and his New Ferrari F12 parked next to his Stingray/pic

A few weeks ago I shipped a 2014 Stingray Z51 cpe from Criswell in Maryland all the way out to Marty in Oregon...he had told me he had a new Ferrari F12 on order and due in any day. Here is the picture of them parked next to each other. Marty has owned 35 Ferrari's over the last 40 yrs and he hated to admit it...but he loves the new Stingray, he said it's an awesome machine.:flag:

Blackdevil77 10-20-2013 08:08 AM

Both beautiful cars. I need to get into Marty's line of business, I want to be able to buy Ferraris and Corvettes lol

DocHolliday 10-20-2013 08:09 AM

Beautiful cars...I'm doing something wrong!

The one with 730 hp, a twin cam 12 cylinder 4 valve per cylinder engine, ceramic brakes, a lightening quick 7 speed DCT gearbox, and makes a noise at 8500 RPM that will make you cry.

In other words, the red one. :)

That should make a great meal for the C7 Z :D Big brother is coming.

Tell the guy to drive it out of the forest for clearer photo's! PLEASE.:smash:

Wow, 35 Ferrari's over 40 years, that is some serious hobby dollars spent, makes my 4 new Vettes in 8 years seem minor in comparison!

Here's my C7 next to my 1986 Ferrari 328 GTS. There's definitely a family resemblance.

Seriously doubt a new C7 Z06 version will be any where near 730HP. Maybe a new ZR1 will come close to 700.

Much better...can see the two thumbs up now!
It is a great compliment to the C7 that someone who has owned 35 Ferraris wants to own a C7 and an F12 at the same time!

I'll bet you a case of beer that it comes within 2 sec of the F12s
Nürburgring...If it doesn't beat the base price $330,000 Ferrari...:hide:
It doesn't need to match it HP to HP...but it can be lighter and handle better...and I believe it will.

I totally agree with you BlueOx. I have more Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes and BMW people in the market purchasing the Stingray then ever before! Many of them buying for the very first time an American Sports car...which happens to be a Worlds Class Sports car!!:flag:

May somewhat agree with you there but my statement was in reference to another member indicating that the Ferrari would be "another meal" for the Z.
