I had this problem with my c6 wich I sold over a year ago, but I think I remember what I did. The headlights were set to Auto and were coming on. I turned the lights to Off but then I had to change the display on the DIC to some other display ie tire pressure to oil temp or something like that. That would cause the dash lights to brighten. I would then switch the headlights back to Auto but they would stay off till it got darker. Hope this works with the c7. :lurk:

I have noticed the dim DIC lights at dusk. However the heads up is fine.

This is a known issue. I don't believe there is a fix yet.

Mine doesn't do it. Instead, mine is stuck at full brightness all of the time and the dimming knob does nothing. Strange. I seem to be the only person who has this problem so far. I would rather have this than the dimming issue though.

This is an issue with my DIC too. It's dark under certain lighting situations. My DIC really needs a fix

Could it be a question of blood flow?
