In case you have not yet seen the specs on the upcoming 2015 Corvette ZO6, take a look at this.

FWIW

The new Z will be 1.5 inches wider than the C6Z!

Hopefully with the heat soak it still is more powerful than a C6 Z

Z06Ronald 01-23-2014 04:53 PM

Nice! Thanks, OP.

Nice spec list. Did I miss the anticipated weight? Didn't see it anywhere.

Really? That's interesting.

My gut said it would be heavier than the C6Z but I was thinking mid 3200s. I guess we'll have to wait and see what comes out. Curious what the final HP numbers will be too, my guess is 640ish.

What if there was a C7 section...... ?

Is the ZR 1 more powerful than the C6Z?

Awesome car but also unfortunately still over designed and busy. A monster for sure but hoping a refresh comes sooner than later.

This option on the C7R should be available on the Z as well.

"short/long arm (SLA) double wishbone,
fabricated steel upper and lower control
arms, coil-over-adjustable shock
absorbers"

Seems like overkill for the street to me, unless you anticipate to take speed bumps, pot holes and side walks at 100+ mph. :willy:

I agree! Supervettes body conversion is way way nicer in my opinion.

Why would it have to be for the street? Just an option.
Either way these cars work 10 times better with coilovers! Street or track....

Specifically I meant the fabricated steel A-arms, but I was a little ambiguous, I have to admit.
I have coil overs myself (Moton).

Agreed, I just copied the entire setup.

holding out for the L88. The z06 is weak in my humble opinion.

LOL

Really impressive specs for the car. Have to wonder just how much the hp/torque mbers will change between now and when it hits the market.
