Sad day for Chevrolet. Although Bowling Green is every Corvette fanatics fantasy garage. It just goes to show that corvettes belong on the road.

:iagree: Still, what a tragedy.

BMadden 02-12-2014 11:26 AM

Wow, the 1 millionth and the 1.5 millionth examples got destroyed? That's such a shame. :(

I'm betting most will be repaired and put back on display

Some, at least, look like the can be retrieved and restored. Question is if they will be able to work there without making the hole worse. The 1M and 1.5M cars are the biggest loss as far as I can see. At least the 1983 is safe, so far.

Looks like Satan wants a C7 and missed his mark ;)

Periokid 02-12-2014 11:33 AM

Wow that is horrible.

CaryKen 02-12-2014 11:33 AM

So it turns out that the devil is a Corvette guy. Who knew? I always figured him as more of a Viper fan.

The long term concern will be whether or not the rest of the museum can be safe and not eventually collapse into the same sinkhole!!
