when you change out headlamp bulbs does the light have to be realigned?
I'm swapping out the OEMS for some sliverstars. if i don't have to do a light alignment I'll do it this afternoon, if i do then I'll wait for it to be a bit darker so i can see where the alignment is now

You should not need to realign them solely based on changing the bulbs, but it never hurts to check the alignment.
Seating the bulbs properly can be a PITA due to lack of room for your hands, take your time and be sure they are seated properly. If they aren't, you will find the alignment WAY off. :ack: I replaced mine several years ago with PIAA Extreme White Plus headlights and Philips 893 CrystalVision driving lights. They aren't HID's by any means, but a nice upgrade over stock and all I need given the limited night driving I do. Good luck! |

They just turn and come out and vise versa to install. |
Here is a link on alignment in case you want to review.

No, If they were fine before they should be fine with the new bulbs, If they were fine before and are not fine now the bulbs are not seated correctly.

:iagree: There should be no need to realign the headlights based on just a bulb change.
