cup tires up front on stock z06 wheels??
what's up guys im looking into getting Michelin cup tires for my z but I saw that the closest size for the front is a 285/30/18 and I believe our stock size is 275/35/18 what are my options without changing wheels? the rears there is no issue I was planning on running the 345/30/19. If I cant use them then so be it, just wanted to double check before I ordered them!
thank you Lou |
285s will be fine up front. You would want that offset anyway. 345s/285s

The problem with that 285/30-18 cup tire is the diameter...its considerably shorter than the stock size that is called for on our Zs. And running the taller 345/30-19 tire on the rear is bound to throw AH/TC issues. You'd be better off running the 325/30-19 N-spec cups on the rear.

I run them on my track wheels. MPSC ZP's-19/20's on my 2011 Carbon edition Z06.
Ron What size and type cups tires came on your carbon, and what style was the OEM rim?? |
