1965 door glass issue--plz help!
My drivers side window rolls up smoothly and fits great!--As soon as I roll it down, it pops backwards at the top and leans slightly inwards. It will go back in line if it is put all the way down.
I have taken the door panel off and looked around--rollers seem fine, window channel felts are worn but look ok. Regulator seems to work. The whole window seems to be loose and slide back and forth. The bolts on the window mount at top of roller are tight! Please help?? Thanks |
how is the mount on the lower track that screws to the door

Before you go all medieval on things; check the felt in the rear window channel as it has a pernicious habit of balling up or folding over from the sides and making a nice one-way, speed bump that prevents smooth operation...
