Snow for Northern New England Predicted

:mad :mad :mad 12th coldest winter on record, now they are saying from Boston up that there is a chance for 1 to 4 inches of snow Sunday night more the further north you go. Then it is only suppose to be in the 30's on Monday:confused: . Come on Ma Nature, enough already, we've already suffered too much this winter :cry!

And I was hoping to wake the Vette up this weekend.

I feel your pain! I was planning on reinstating the insurance on the C5 on Friday, but now I will wait and see if the $#@& salt trucks make an encore visit before saying goodbye this year :mad .

If I don't get to drive soon, I'm gonna go  !

Please keep it away. We just got our cars out last weekend. If we have anymore snow someone is gonna get hurt.

Damn. Just damn. I sure hope that NED opens Wednesday. Last year, I was first in line for the first day of racing! I can't beat that, so I'm just hoping to beat my best 1/4 mile time with my new 3.54 gears.

I think my memory is gone. 12th coldest? Seemed worse than that for me. I took the vette out a couple of time this week, just goes sideways with all the sand still on the road. Ric

Just shoot me!!!

Here is the forecast :mad :mad :mad.

Snow could begin mixing in around the White Mountains and north by late morning and then elsewhere as the afternoon progresses, but more likely during the night. A few inches is likely for places south of the Lakes Region with the White Mountains and northward getting over 6 inches. Central New Hampshire will probably see between 3 to 6 inches before it winds down during the day on Monday. Temps: In the 40s early dropping into the 30s by late afternoon and early evening.

And of course we never get the lesser amount of snow forecast always the greater amount. Damn, just when I was starting to see some of my yard!

Ahyuh, NWS and Bert's basset hound forecast 3 inches total downeast. It was all in the woolly catapillers if you southerners had taken the time to read em.. hell even the tree moss said snow till May. Even though this winter was colder than a witches teat in a cast iron brassire, i can't complain as we've had 5 years of milder than normal winters round abouts. Ill be ready for spring 'bout July....

Brace yourself New Englanders, because here in Upstate NY we got at least two inches on the ground overnight and it is coming down steady right now :( . No doubt this crap is heading your way.

Here is my neighborhood...

I don't see how the DOT guys can resist NOT salting today :mad , so I guess my countdown clock will be reset to 1 week of serious rinse-grade rainfall when this ends :mad :nonod: .

Probably about 2" on the ground now (4:16 PM) and still falling here (near Albany, NY). I think everybody is really sick of Old Man Winter by now! I was just beginning to see all of the great looking fiberglass on the streets (saw an absolutely beautiful triple black convertible yesterday); now I guess they will all be put away for another week or 2.

I'm thinking we may still be all good to go. The weather has been kinda warm; the ground must be somewhat warmed up, up there. There's not gonna be that much snow. Hopefully it'll all be gone by Wednesday or Friday or atleast Sunday. I remember last year on a Wednesday it snowed in the morning, it was gone by the afternoon, and we were racing that evening. I really hope the season starts on time. Over the past few days, I've been busting my azz to get this car ready for Sunday, 4/6. Trans filter, change rear-end fluid, flush radiator, change spark plugs, run wiring for fanswitch, flush power steering, change oil, brought to a friends garage so I could use the lift to check everything underneath, got car's front tires on ramps, rear tires on blocks, changed oil cooler lines, cleaned throttle body, had BFG's mounted. All I got left now is to bypass coolant flow to the tb, and go to Benny's and buy a switch for my fan. I went to The Daytona 500 this year that was rained out at the halfway point. My last race, last season got rained out near the end, I went to NED last year and delt with 7 rainouts. I say it's about time Mother Nature owes me one. Positive thought here. :steering:

 Looks like you positive thoughts worked. The weather dorks usually predict bad weather with great accuracy, but they missed this one; we got NO SNOW here in Epping :D! I drove by NED yesterday and they are clear of all snow as well.

You guys are sooooo lucky! As I drove in to work today I saw 3 trucks dumping salt on the interstate, which was DRY! Argh! No wonder our NYS taxes are so high!
