C5 rims fit C4?
I have a chance to buy some Filske rims from a late C5. Will they fit my '96? Any problems to overcome in this? Thanks, guys.

I have a set of 97 C-5 wheels on my 86 Convertible. All i had to do was get the spacers that upped it from a 16" wheel to a 17" wheel. If i remeber correctly, your 96 will take these wheels straight out. Vettemen :auto: |

Factory Y2K's bolt right up. You shouldn't have any problems.

I am running zo6 18x10.5 and 17x9.5 with 275-40-17 and 295-35-18 with no problems I added wheel spacers on the back for the street so it would look cool only. plenty of clearence...

Assuming they are standard C5 size/offset there will not be a problem. I am running C5 18's all the way around on my 96.

Thanks for the advice, guys. I appreciate it.
(by the way, I lost out on the Filske wheel deal, but I'll file the info) Larry code5coupe :seeya |
Re: C5 rims fit C4? (rocco16)
There is a 5mm difference in offset. Late C4 9.5" wide wheels have a 56mm offset and the 18" C5 wheels is 61mm which means they'll be in the wheel well 5mm more than the C4 wheels.
