The best cam package..... with stock heads LS1...
 

I want to be in the 11's sometime soon... 12.07 is where im at as of last weekend... My next mod will be a cam and pully... What other head work will I need with the cam? Who has the best deal and hp numbers right now. What is the price on installation of the cam ( guess).... So whats the best cam package with the stock heads.... Thanks guys for any info... :cheers:

Cartek is running a cam only special w/installation but that's a bit far for you to drive from your location. Call Dave @ Cartek (908)317-4496 and see which cam he recommends for your car. I know how you feel, I am at 12.02 right now but can't get my magic 11 second slip yet :banghead: Looks like I have to go into the engine soon, if headers don't get me there :cheers:

MMT did my cam install, give Sean a call there 469-721-3080. He is just North of Dallas, and I think he can get you a good total package price. :D

I put down 399 rwhp on a mustang dyno with G5X2 and bolt ons before my underdrive setup.

I did my own work, it is a very feasable weekend task.

What kind of a deal did he give you..... What was your stock dyno. before the cam install.... Which cam. did you go with... Thanks for the info...

With your 97, assuming everything is running right, you should be AROUND 300 hp on a Dynojet at the rear wheels. The cam mentioned above is the G5X2 by LG Motorsports. Just click on their site at the left for pricing, email, etc.
Personally, I'm checking Cartek, as one of their cars has the quickest 1/4mi time on a stock bottom end (around 470 rwhp).

What kind of mods and equipment do you have ?? Guys like Mikie C are running 11.7's with A4's and NO cam or head work. Check out these guy's first if money is tight, if not pick a shop YOU like and see what they have to offer.
