Conversion...........132 in lbs -- in ft lbs?

I need a conversion for the below or the formula.

90 in--ft?
150 in -- ft?
132 in -- ft?

Thanks Randy

in. lbs divided by 12 =ft. lbs.

in. lbs divided by 12 =ft. lbs.

Here is a nice conversion calc I pulled up doing a google search:

This is a great program I've been using for a couple of years now. It's free and very easy to use. Lots of different types of conversions too!

Re: Conversion...........132 in lbs -- in ft lbs? (Randy 71)

90ft. lbs. = 1080 in. lbs.

150ft. lbs. = 1800 in lbs. (the limit on some torque wrenches)

132ft. lbs. = 1584 in lbs.

.....just multiply by 12 for inches or divide by 12 for feet. ;)

132 in -- ft?
...
Inch - pounds divided by 12 will yeild foot - pounds. Be sure to use an inch-pounds torque wrench. A foot-pounds torque wrench will be inaccurate at small foot-pounds settings. An inch-pounds torque wrench is your friend. :)

Your kidding right? I mean In-pounds to Newton meters I can see to be difficult but in.-ft. or vice versa??? That was 1st grade I believe. No offense of course.

That whole watts to HP, bar to PSI and tor to inches of mercury conversion thing always catch me offguard at work. If it were on my PDA it would sure save the time figuring it out! Not to mention that 120MPH is MACH .16

Hey Eric,
I don't know what kind of PDA you have, but I just found these, that I will be downloading tonight!!

Both really inexpensive and seem pretty complex for the size...

I knew I should have bought a palm pilot. But I thought at the time Windows CE would rule the world. But thanks for the info!

Hahahahahaa!!!  Sorry, I don't mean to laugh at your fall, but I could totally foresee myself in the same position! That's exactly why I didn't go with the Windows CE type of PDA!! Tried a W/CE unit (and didn't like it!!) before I found this Palm (Tungsten T) and now life is good!

There's still hope for ya!! The PalmStore usually always has "open box" specials on their stuff.

G/L!
Paul
