How much should you expect to pay
 

How much should you expect to pay to have headers installed? The car already had shorty headers on it. Those were removed and Hooker super comp. were installed. The exaust was tied up to take it to a muffler shop. The engine is a 350 with air ect.. The work was done at a private shop. :conehead

Maybe $200 assuming no broken bolts in the heads. Whatdiditcostya?

The muffler shop I took my car to based his price on the "book" price for replacing stock manifolds and then he added $100. I thought that was fair... I wouldn't have done it myself for that price ;)

I overpaid!

I had used the same shop for years and did not ask in advance. The bill took my breath away for a moment.

I guess he used it as an opportunity to make up for lots of free stuff he had done for me in the past.
