Who makes the strongest/most reliable automatic transmissions?
 

I am looking to purchase an A4 real soon.

My Rossler has held up well through a magnuson, H&C, and numerous nitrous runs thus far. :yesnod: :thumbs:

I noticed on their website that they have a 4L65-E upgrade option for a 4L60 transmission AND you need to have a core transmission. Why not just buy a complete 4L65-E transmission from GM Parts Direct for $1800.00 w/out a core requirement and skip all the extra cost from FLP? Confused (what's the difference?)

Talk to Rodney, aka Crashed94. He's probably better known for his M6 and M12s but he actually does quite a few A4s also. I was just up there on Friday getting my M6/Clutch/Shifter put in. He uses the GM 5 planet pinion in all his A4s. Lucky for you, he's just across one state line in Indiana! Best way to contact him is on his cell phone (765)524-5341. Good luck! :thumbs:
