What water temp will the fan come on?
Car over heated yesterday, what temp should the fan come on? If I run the air or heater in comes on at 218, if I turn both off temp stays at 220 and fan stays off.

If the AC is on, the fan should be running full time regardless of temp....
As for otherwise.. I'm not sure at what temps is first turns on and at what temps the speed increases...

What do you mean by over heat? I only ever had my C5 over heat once in Miami stop n go traffic, the A/C turned off and I got some type of reduced power message on the DIC.
But yes, the fans kick on at really high temps.

I assume you are reading the digital temp. readout in the Touring mode, and not the analog gauge on the instrument cluster?

See the OP's other thread where it provides more detail of the overheat condition. It overheated to the point of water coming out of the overflow port: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...verheated.html
To the OP: From your other thread it sounds like you were moving at freeway speed. Were you in stop and go traffic or moving steadily at highway speed? At highway speed in 80 degree weather even if the fan was not operational it shouldn't have heated up to the point of blowing coolant out of the recovery tank.
