I will be ordering a 2015 Z51, 3LT coupe tomorrow and we can't decide which color interior goes best with the Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic exterior. I want the black machined faced wheels because they look good with the carbon flash stinger hood, grille and vents. I don't think we will go with the black painted mirrors and spoiler option.
The interior choices for the DSOM are Jet black all one color, Grey with a two tone, Kalahari with a two tone and the Brownstone that also appears to have a two tone. It is hard to decide without seeing a built car. The GM site does show the colors when building your own but it is just photo-shopped coloring and may not reflect the true colors. My wife thinks the Brownstone is not right with the black interior trim and the grey may be too light. Right now I am leaning towards the Jet black or maybe the Kalahari. All of the colors on the 3LT have the suede inserts.

Any opinions? I'm sure everyone has there own!

Jet black will provide a nice contrast, IMHO.

I'd do Jet Black, looks great with my Crystal Red and all the black accents on the car. I added tinted back and side windows that also complement it.

I actually think Brownstone would go very well with DSOM.

I really think black will end up being the best color choice for this new color. You can always stain your stitching orange to add a little contrast to your interior as well. Congratulations on your new purchase, it's going to look sharp!

Black would be my choice. I had a '70 Camaro SS that was Thunder Orange and the black made for a great contrast. Congrats on the new 2015!!!

Check with your Dealer regarding the Z06 interior color options. There is a new Dark Gray, that appears really nice in the sample snaps, I think it's named Graphite. Kalahari would be nice too! I believe Brownstone is no longer available, at least in the Z06.

Correction: The new interior color is Galvanized. Brownstone is not an option.

Adrenalin Red is the only interior color that requires an override with DSOM. Both the Blue and Gray tops require a color override on the convertible regardless of interior color.

I vote Grey. If you want contrast go with Black. God I hope those seat coolers really work if you go Black and buy a windshield screen to keep the sun out. I use one for my Ebony interior and it helps because I don't have seat coolers.

I agree with your wife about the Brownstone and I think the Kalahari is too orangish and will neither match nor contrast well with the exterior orange color. My vote is for Jet Black interior.
