On a side note, I wish we had nicer seats like the Caravaggio's and i want to put 15" rims out back....

Interesting lists! I guess I've not had the size of the steering wheel bother me? I guess you could always put it in the pool? I've come to find out that now that the group I road race with no longer runs the track with the 3/8 mile straight, the MN12 trans in the C5 Z works great for the shorter tracks!!!
Power I've got covered. Better braking with track pads are a big improvement. Seats are just ok, but I spose some with better bolsters would be nice, though I did put some seat heaters in. My NT-01 track tires do VERY well for track tires. For me I'd like to be able to put 345's out back with a wide body kit, but ain't gonna spend that kind of $.
I guess for now I'm a happy camper...except for the elec gremlins that keep messin with my door locks and seat memory...oh well.

I'd love to get rid of those plastic engine covers, move the coil racks elsewhere in the engine compartment, and get dressed-up fuel rails and valve covers. To me that would give it a more retro V-8 look under the hood.

The base C5 already came with 17/18 wheel combo.
The Z06 would look, and perform better with a 18/19 wheel tire combo with wider front, and rear fenders.
With 18" front wheels bigger brakes would also be possible.
That bose radio was trash. The C4's bose combo in my 95 Vette had more ***** than the C5's bose. They are both gone now.

There's nothing about the car I truly DON'T like that I dont' have the power/ability to change...hence why I changed most of it. The only thing I won't change, due to cost, that I can honestly say I wish were better...was just the feel/quality of some of the interior pieces. I won't change that, because those costs are wastes in my opinion, but my s2k and bimmers really make the Z's interior something I have to overlook. What it lacks in interior though, it makes up for in so many other ways..so...it's all good.

seats, steering wheel (3 spoke) better paint, or less flex from the rear bumper, my 02 is starting to get some stress cracks in the rear bumper under the clear coat. I have seen a lot of other c5's with the same issue.

It's amazing how many people want a better steering wheel, yet there's no solution with an airbag.
The discussion has been going on a long time: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...airbag-10.html

Exhaust note is one...
Overall I've come to really enjoy this car; more than any other I've had. Dang, it does everything; quick, handles great... Although you can always have more power, and the interior is a bit dated (our 2010 Grand Caravan dash is nicer) (edit; I like the interior plenty; it's just the radio and heat controls that look dated; the actual dash, DIC, door controls, etc. are all fine. Some brushed aluminum would look cool, but no worry), better lighting would be OK (had Xenon in my last car), otherwise nothing significant. Biggest shortcoming is the exhaust note:
1 - At idle I find the stock exhaust note a bit clangy. Doesn't have that V8 low RPM rumble I've had in the past.
2 - The dreaded Z06 2500RPM exhaust rattle.
Building Tri-Y headers and x-pipe over the winter, that should solve both problems.

Shifter is junk, put an MGW in and its still junk. My MKIV VW Jetta shifted a hundred times better. Damn, my 71 LT-1 has a better shifter feel. You'd think GM would get better after 31 years, not worse..........
Other change would be oil cooling
Car is pitched as a street legal track ready car. I hit 280 degrees on the track with 15W-50 in a 20 minute session. A track ready car would have proper cooling.
