I have one of the purple Harbor Freight HVLP spray guns. It only came with a 1.4 nozzle, and I need larger. I don't see them listed anywhere on the HF website. Has anyone found replacement nozzles that will fit these guns?

It is a cheap gun, yes. I already own this gun. Just wanting to spray some primer and wondered if a larger tip was available.

I haven't seen or heard of them being available. What kind of primer are you trying to get through that thing? I bought one of those purple guns years ago and wound up using it to spray a lot of primers (I've since moved up in the gun world). Now, if you're trying to get slick sand or some other thick stuff through it forget it. These guns are cheap enough, heck, find a drill bit that fits through the current opening and then go up a size and open it up a little bit. You'd have to get another one to go back to spraying paint. There really are a lot of economical options out there as far as guns go. Especially used guns. Old school JGA's and the likes go for next to nothing these days and, if product transfer isn't one of your top priorities, and you're not worried about your neighbors or the EPA barking at you, I'm sure you can find an older gun in the tip size you want.
