3400 today in Michigan and very happy to be moving on up! What is the best guess for delivery date? Wonder whether Corvette will hold the first produced for additional quality checks. Would be fine with me as I'm impressed by how they maintain impressive quality.

Any cars built prior to the beginning of consumer cars being built (which has not happened yet) are either prototypes or captured fleet vehicles. No cars built 5 weeks ago are languishing in the back lot. They are in the hands of engineers and GM brass.

I agree that the hold time will be about 3-4 weeks with first consensus cars and early 2nd consensus cars shipping out before the end of the year plant shut down.

Its 225 miles from BG Assembly to my dealer... This will be my 9th Vette, but it is the first time that I have been one of the "first in line guys". Pretty cool knowing that i will be one of the first people to own what will undoubtedly be such an epic car.

Also made it to 3400. Feeling pretty good that I was able to get the CFZ package on my non-Z07 order after the CFV was not available. Would not have taken the car without the level 2 aero package.

I'm from the first consensus, I did make a change at 3000, but as of today I'm at 3300 now. The dealer did say there could be a 2-3 week delay if I made changes, but to me the delay was reasonable as I really wanted to upgrade the interior at the last minute. It may have delayed my progress just a bit.

Like many of you, I too was at the common 3400 status but I slipped a couple of singles here and there (and a five to that damn guy with the clipboard - boy was he tough to deal with) and now I am sitting pretty at 3400.5++ (or: Premier Build Status as it is known up here in the rarified air). Right now I seem to be the only one here in the special 3400.5 ++ PREMIER lounge, but I am sure a couple of other people from fine families will join me soon. I can't wait to see the new Zora reveal that is of course only available to those of us who are special enough to be at 3400.5++ PREMIRE Build Status - it is scheduled to go any minute now.

Yes, at my 3400.5 ++ PREMIER Build Status women want me, men fear me and, oddly enough, dogs seem compelled to hump my leg.

I predict that delivery for those of you who are now at the common 3400 status will start the week before Thanksgiving. I know it will be fun for the wanna be 3400.5++ers to see their almost as important and nearly as nice ZO6's follow my amazing Shark Gray M7 with Kalahari interior down the assembly line sometime next late next week. I expect that they will be ready for delivery (or in my case Premier Museum Delivery Version 2.8 (that pretty much emptied out the last $7 in my emergency stash) the week before Thanksgiving.

Still no one else here in the lounge... probably all at the ATM getting some cash for that bastard with the clipboard... this fine wine they brought me tastes a little like grape Kool-Aid and the caviar looks like used coffee grounds. The next thing you know they will be telling me that the Zora reveal scheduled for later tonight will be postponed. Its really quiet in here... you would think that they would have some really nice folding chairs for an event like this - this wooden crate is starting to numb my butt.... any minute now... that Zora is going to be awesome!

Well that may explain the delay in performance data and press reviews AND if they are really having issues with the A8 they would have to sort that out before Ring times and press reviews are completed because the A8 is the higher performing car.... that would mean an even longer hold time than 3-4 weeks . Chevy never releases the cars to owners before the press even though first batch will be all M7s which have no issues

Yes, I checked just before posting. I see Kerbeck also has some cars that are still at 3300 this week, so hopefully mine will go 3400 next week. Yes, ordered from Boardwalk on 9/23.

That sounds great, we might receive our cars at the same time (same concensus)! I am certain you will get some movement real soon as all the 1st concensus Z's are turning to 3400 rather rapidly as BG ramps up production!
