Default Sharing latest Mod on Heat Exchanger (hood vent)

This guy took me a while on paint and install but I do like the way it turned out. That said it is in keeping with my overall theme on my cyber grey 14 non Z coupe to incorporate the red of my calipers across the whole car, including future mods. It should be noted all paint used is the "Torch Red" to keep consistent. This is Carbon Fiber HE (top) from TKO Performance paired with a stock lower section with S.Steel screen cut to size and epoxied in. The lower section sanded, primed and shot in Torch Red. The concept here is that the red shows thru at the right angle. This can be done in any color and there is no need for the top vent to be CF (it can be stock or any color. It all comes a part logically. Happy to help anyone interested in doing this .

Just checked. My '15 does not have mesh under the grills. Was that added during paint?

Thanks for the nice comments...even the nightrider quip though the last time I checked there were no scrolling lights involved with this project .
I am just giving "back" to the place and people that have given me the courage to tweak some areas of this amazing car that will hopefully make it a little different than the other "Grey Corvette", not better , different. I am sure that someone will take this concept and "tweak" it themselves. Sorry no video,or detailed pics as it is all I can do to apply my limited skills in not screwing it up Always happy to walk anyone thru on what I would do different ect...
I will carry the treatment on to the grills on the flanks and will report on the finished product.

I may contact you in a couple of months as I replace mine with a Carbon Fiber vent...

Cool look! I have a SG coupe and have been looking for subtle ways of adding more red to complement my red calipers and red interior. You've given me another idea for that. Thanks!

FWIW I have started taking all vents to CF and screens here are shots of the rear vents doing the side vents this weekend to finish up the process.
